Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains what Monastic Marketing (“Monastic,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use this site or apply to the Monastic Growth Partners program, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Monastic Marketing, [registered business address]. For anything in this policy, write to [privacy@yourdomain.com].
What we collect
Information you give us
- Partner application details: your name, email address, phone number, company or website, a description of your work and network, and your estimate of referral volume.
- Booking details: if you book a call, whatever our scheduling provider collects to hold the appointment, which is typically name, email, time zone and any notes you add.
- Referral details: the business name and contact details of anyone you introduce to us.
- Payment details: if you become an active partner, the information needed to pay you and meet tax reporting obligations.
- Correspondence: emails, messages and call notes exchanged with us.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server log data: IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps.
- Analytics data about how the site is used, if analytics are enabled on this site.
Referrals: a note on other people’s data
When you submit a business as a referral, you are giving us contact details for someone else. Only submit a business you have a genuine relationship with and who would reasonably expect to hear from us. We contact referred businesses on the basis of that introduction, identify you as the source, and stop contacting them if they ask us to.
Why we use it
- To review your application and run the partner program.
- To contact the businesses you refer and to track which referrals belong to you.
- To calculate, record and pay commission, and to issue statements.
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
- To improve the site and understand how people use it.
- To send you program updates. You can opt out of these at any time without affecting your commission.
Legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (running the program and paying you), legitimate interests (operating and improving the business, contacting referred businesses), consent (marketing email, non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, each bound to use it only for that purpose:
- Website and form hosting
- Scheduling and calendar booking
- CRM, email and marketing platforms
- Payment, accounting and tax providers
- Analytics providers
We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
How long we keep it
Applications that don’t proceed are kept for up to 24 months. Active partner records, referral records and commission statements are kept for the life of the partnership and then for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is generally seven years. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Email [privacy@yourdomain.com] and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to work, and may use analytics cookies to measure traffic. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies; blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Other sites
Pages here may link to or embed third-party tools, such as a calendar booking widget. Those providers have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
Children
This site and the partner program are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting active partners will be sent by email.
